Monthly workshops designed to help you learn to “adult.” Classes are open to middle and high school students, featuring a different topic each month.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Battles

Think you could hold your own in a Yu-Gi-Oh battle?  Try your luck against other players!  Recommended for youth ages 8 and up.  No charge.  

First Wednesdays,  (Apr. 5, May 3) at 4-7:30PM

Game Days

Got skills?  Come and test them out at open gaming with Wii and our PS4! Try your luck with Dance Central, outwit other drivers on Mario Kart or play some old school board games!  Open to youth of all ages, second Thursday of every month.   (Anyone who wishes to bring their own games must have them approved by Youth Services staff prior to the event and sign a liability waiver.) No charge. Upcoming dates: Apr. 13, May 11 and Jun. 8 4-5:30PM


Y.O.L.O.

Ever wished the library offered more of a certain type of book or movie?  Have you ever longed for a specific event or program to be hosted here at the library?  Tell us about it!  Join Y.O.L.O. (Youth Offering Library Opinions) and help shape the future of the NPR Public Library.  Y.O.L.O. members will contribute ideas for programs and events, help select new library materials, plan for future fundraising opportunities and make a difference in the community.  You can also earn volunteer hours.  Meetings are once a month.  Open to those going into grades 6 through 12.  Contact Jessica in Youth Services for more information or an application.
