Fall is bountiful @ your NPR Library!

The Showcase Arts Foundation’s Repertory Company proudly presents contemporary theatre this fall @ your NPR library.

One of the most controversial plays of modern theater and the winner of the 2005 Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award for Best Play is opening this November in the Tampa Bay area and is coming to your NPR Library!

“Doubt, A Parable,” one of John Patrick Shanley’s most riveting works and the basis for the 2008 motion picture starring Meryl Streep and Philip Seymour Hoffman, will be performed by the Showcase Repertory Company, in local libraries and community centers in the Tampa Bay area.

“Doubt,” set in a 1960s Catholic school, revolves around a nun who suspects the up‐and‐coming Father Flynn of abusing the school’s first black student. As the two engage in quick‐fire dialogue, they tackle issues of morality, authority, and religion.

New Port Richey Library: Sat, Nov. 28 (7PM) & Sun, Nov. 29 (2PM) A $10 suggested donation will be taken at the door. Seating is first‐come, first‐served at all locations.
